Originally from the mountains of West Virginia, Julie found herself coming to the Western Maryland resort of Deep Creek Lake since she was a young girl. Graduating from West Virginia University & moving to the DC metropolitan area to start her career in sales, she was never far from a weekend trip to Deep Creek. She enjoyed a successful career in sales with the Washington Times (Advertising Sales) and then with Republic National Distributing (DC Beverage Sales), one of her largest accounts being the Verizon Center.

She moved to Deep Creek full-time 20 years ago with her two sons, Baird and Brooks. This was the perfect place to raise two active boys! An avid skier & boater, she has taken advantage of all that Garrett County offer. Working with a property management company in 2013 as a reservationist, she realized she needed to get back into the world of sales that she truly loves. She is passionately involved with many local organizations that are important to her. Gardening, her love for pets, school athletics, 4-H, Garrett County Chamber of Commerce- Diplomat & volunteering with several local charities are just a few of her favorite pastimes – that is, when she’s not on the soccer fields, slopes, or in the water!
