Julie first arrived in Athens in 1995 as a first-generation college student at the University of Georgia, wide-eyed and unsure of what lay ahead. She quickly fell in love with the Classic City and, in a bold move, majored in French Education—because why not? While she may not use her French degree daily in a town where most people speak Southern, it does come in handy for charming real estate moments. Need a patio that screams relaxation? Julie can confidently say, “Oooh la la! A chaise lounge would be parfait here,” with a flawless accent.
But Julie didn’t step straight into real estate. First, she became a diehard Bulldog fan, met the love of her life, Joe (also a diehard Bulldog fan), and made Athens their forever home. Together, they built businesses, raised three wonderful children, and still love traveling to see the Dawgs play all over the country.
Before launching her real estate career, Julie worked as a professional photographer and organizing consultant—two skills that now serve her clients well. Whether it’s staging a home to sell or helping buyers envision a space’s full potential, Julie brings an eye for detail and a passion for creating order out of chaos. And since three kids, two jobs, and a husband weren’t quite enough to keep her busy, she dove into real estate, a career that combines everything she loves: people, community, and helping families turn houses into homes.
Julie is more than just a knowledgeable agent—she’s a connector. She knows the Athens market inside and out, provides expert guidance through every step of the buying and selling process, and believes in staying truly connected. Her clients often become friends, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
So whether you’re buying, selling, or just dreaming about your next move, #justcalljulie.
