About Kalo

Kalo moved to Sequim in 1994 and has been an active member of the community. He graduated from Sequim High School in 1999 and joined the Marine Corps in 2000. Upon honorably completing 4 years of service to the country, he moved back to Sequim with his family to raise their children in the rain shadow. He then attended and graduated at the top of his class in 2006 with his degree in Land Surveying from Peninsula College and worked in that field for several years. He has since been serving as the lead mentor for Sears Holdings and was given an opportunity in 2017 to change careers. He met with Brody one day at lunch in 2020, and the rest is history.

He has served in various roles in the community, including 6 years as an AWANA leader, multiple terms elected as the lead coordinator of "Choose," a local homeschooling organization, and serving on the Relay for Life committee in 2006.
