Kama Burton is the Broker Owner of CMB Realty Services in Moreno Valley. She is also a speaker and trainer. She has been in the Real Estate industry since 2005 and established her brokerage in 2020. Kama's passion lies in helping her community achieve homeownership, and her mission is to turn real estate dreams into reality.
Kama is a natural educator. She serves as an adjunct Professor at Moreno Valley College, where she teaches Real Estate pre-licensing courses, assisting her students in obtaining their real estate licenses. Within the Real Estate industry, she is a trainer who focuses on leadership and provides tools and techniques to support other real estate professionals. Additionally, Kama is a certified trainer for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), where she trains other Real Estate Professionals on Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing and the At Home with Diversity Certification course.
In 2022, Kama Burton made history as the first Black female President of the Inland Valleys Association of REALTORS® (IVAR), leading a membership of over 4200 individuals. Leadership is a fundamental aspect of her life. Currently, she serves as the Housing Policy Chair for IVAR and sits on the Board of Directors for the California and National Association of REALTORS®. Kama is a proud graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy, class of 2022. She is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, an organization that promotes, supports, and educates on Black Homeownership.
In the community, Kama has established a non-profit called Loving Me 1st. Through this organization, she has initiated a mentorship program aimed at helping Black girls build self-esteem and recognize their self-worth. This program has expanded to include the Hispanic and other minority communities within the Moreno Valley School District. Kama strongly believes that giving back to the community is crucial when it comes to promoting and showcasing its strengths.
