Karen was an excellent realtor. She stuck with us during our 1.5 year-long search for a new home and helped us find the perfect one. Only a few weeks before closing we ran into some larger issues but she advised us, helped quell our nerves, and ultimately saved us a lot of money. We would recommend Karen to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, even in this wacky market.

We worked with Karen on the rehab of a flip property and the sale of that property. This was our first mountain property and Karen was wonderful about helping us with resources and information to ensure the rehab was done successfully. The project did present some challenges but Karen remained responsive, professional and very patient with us. We really appreciated all her hard work to get our property sold to the best fitted buyers.

We had the good fortune of being introduced to Karen Bordner from HomeSmart. Karen has knowledge of the local area, as well as, all the intricate understanding of real state for purchase or sale. She is also responsive to texts, calls, emails and any questions one might have. She explains any questions you might have and is willing and able to have you understand them by the end of your conversation. She is very patient, funny and very easy to work with. I feel that she has gone above and beyond her call of duty and we are sincerely thankful to Karen's professionalism, timeliness, responsiveness, and valued input. As the seller, my expectation was that my real estate agent would represent me and my best interest. Karen Bordner did that and much more, the entire process of selling my home was a wonderful experience for me. I knew from conversations and comps her exposure to the market was current ; I always felt I was working with an experienced profesional.
Karen immediately began working towards helping me prepare my home and having it show at its best. Details I would not have thought of were discussed and executed. For example, HVAC system cleaning and maintenance, updating fire and carbon emission system, professional staging of the main living areas and videographer led to an outstanding listing and offer process. And it helped ensure that during the closing there were no concerns or exceptions from the buyers.
She went above and beyond in building a strong professional relationship with me (the seller), which included positive communications between us and the vendors. Throughout the entire process, when I first reached out to Karen to the closing, I felt my needs and the sale of my home was handled with integrity and care.
Karen was the critical element in my home selling at $27K over asking - from the listing and multiple offers received less than 48 hours after ‘going live’ on the MLS - she ensured my home sold quickly.
