I met Karen kind of by accident when I went to the local real estate office because I needed an appraisal of my apartment which she did for us no charge. My landlord was selling and we were thinking of buying it. Long story short we changed our minds and decided to buy a house instead and I asked Karen to help us find one and she helped get us through what turned out to be a long difficult close. We first met Karen at an open house more than 12 years ago and hit it off right away. She helped us find a co-op apartment to buy in Bayside and gave us fantastic guidance and execution on the neighborhood, schools and co-op process. We kept in touch with her throughout the years and so when it came time for us to move to Long Island, we naturally reached out to her. She was the perfect fit to sell our co-op apartment and we asked her to assist us in finding our home in Long Island. She handled the whole co-op sale processes seamlessly from finding the appropriate buyer, hosting open houses and keeping the board application and approval process moving along.

In our search for a home in Long Island, we searched far and wide in many areas trying to pinpoint our new home. She relentlessly searched listings, sent us ideas and took us to open houses and scheduled visits. Throughout the process, she helped us keep our composure and emotions in check in what was a very competitive and difficult housing market. We lost a few bids and she fought tooth and nail to win. But she never tired in keeping our spirits up and continuing the search. In what ultimately became the home we did end up buying, it almost seemed like we wouldn’t have a chance, but she championed on our behalf with brokers, attorneys and the sellers to make it work and get us under contract. But, it wasn’t over once we were under contract, getting the timing of co-op closing and house closing right was looking bleak but she kept at it continuously to get everything to line up. She went above and beyond and made it all work out.

In the end, it all came down to the unwavering trust we had in Karen to get the job done and go above and beyond to get us through the process. It is because of her work that I sit writing this review from our beautiful new home. I strongly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a broker that seriously cares about finding you the right fit for your family. She won’t BS you, she’ll give you the truth and work tirelessly on your behalf. It is without hesitation that you should believe she will find you something fantastic (or get your home sold)!

It was a long process trying to sell our coop. Karen was there every step of the way. My wife and I knew we were in good hands. Karen highlighted the many features our unit had. We had numerous offers. As difficulties arose with our buyer, Karen (with the help of Donna) made sure everything was taken care of. Buying and selling a home can be very challenging.
