Carolina Beach and Kure Beach are two island communities that comprise "Pleasure Island", which is located just south of Wilmington, NC. The town of Carolina Beach is situated on the north end of Pleasure Island. This quaint beach community has many events and attractions throughout the year that make Carolina Beach a wonderful place to vacation or live full time. The Kure Beach area is bustling with upscale development; small beach cottages are intermingled with newly built luxury homes and condominiums. Wrightsville Beach is a luxurious oceanfront community a few miles east from our downtown on the Cape Fear River, and just a hop across the bridge to Landfall, Lumina Station, Mayfair, and others!
Karen grew up in N.J. and achieved my BS from Rutgers in Environmental Sciences and Public Health. This has REALLY come in handy with coastal real estate. After working in Pathology at RWJ University Hospital for 14 years, she left to care for her family of three children and her husband of 20 years. During that time, her passion for Real Estate, architecture, building, community service and charity bloomed. She was often found reading Real Estate blogs, reading real estate books, and helping friends and family figure their real estate investments and purchases. The kids eventually were in school full time, and she then worked with REMAX for a brief time before relocating to my dream life in Carolina Beach, NC. She has helped many people happily achieve their goals with my passion and vast interest and knowledge of Real Estate and its trends.
