Karen began her real estate career in 1993. She started with real estate marketing while married and having two young sons. In 1997, Karen started working for Oxford Commercial Real Estate Company here in Austin. She decided to get her real estate license in March 2000 to be a residential Realtor to help families with their goal to purchase a "place to call home". For the last 19 years, she has collaborated with many first-time homebuyers, previous clients selling their homes to move up to a larger home, collaborating with buyers and sellers in the military, working with referrals from her current and previous clients, and also leasing homes and apartments. She loves helping people achieve their all-time goal of finding their dream house for their families. She is a National Award Winners Honor Society Top Producer for 2014 during her first year with Berkshire Hathaway, a National Award Winners Honor Society Top Producer again in 2015, a Multi-Million Dollar Producer for 2016, and National Award Winners Honor Society Top Producer in 2017 and 2018. When she has some free time, she loves spending time with her sons when they come home and walking our dog Bevo, spending time with friends, and sometimes doing just nothing. She also loves to cook and bake and with her being from Louisiana, she has to say that she can cook some good Cajun food, seafood, and many other dishes such as Italian and Mexican dishes. Her boys prefer to eat at home! She has two grown sons who are her pride and joy! Taylor (30) is a graduate of UT in Sports Management and Branden (27) is one of the best-talented artists in Austin. Being a single Mom has made them a close family unit, which has been rewarding watching them grow up to be fine young men. She takes immense pride in being a perfectionist, is very dedicated to her clients, and will go beyond for her current, past, and future clients. Her motto is to serve and be efficient with her clients. She is honest, has great character, and has high integrity. She has also always kept up with the newest and latest trends and feels like there is something new to learn every day in this real estate field.
