My wife and I wanted to live near the mountains after living in Texas for almost 40 years. We contacted Karen after trying another real estate firm and not getting the kind of service we wanted. Karen showed us numerous properties and after several trips to Durango we decided we would buy land and build our own home. She could not have been more knowledgeable about the area and was always willing to answer any questions we might have had. We both now consider her a true friend and a constant source of knowledge about other sources of services---accountant, lawyer, builder, etc.
