Real Estate has been an integral part of my life for over 20 years and it lives near and dear to my heart. I have succeeded in the industry due to it fitting so perfectly with my strengths and passions. The process of helping others find a home where they can create memories and set roots is what makes real estate not only a job, but a true love of mine.
Before beginning the journey of becoming an agent, I was the Director of Community Relations for a local large non-profit. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. I absolutely loved the profession, but when looking for a realtor myself I concluded that real estate would be a perfect fit for me. I found a common denominator that explains how I could love two careers that seem so different on the surface yet in both my primary job responsibility was helping people. I find that I strive and excel in helping clients feel secure and well taken care of while at the same time being a valuable tool and resource for answers and advice.
Throughout my years as a Realtor, I have been awarded many industry awards. I have received the Circle of Excellence Award for 15 years, the OAR President’s Club Award of Distinction, International President’s Circle Award, International President’s Elite Award, Diamond Society Award, and was a four time recipient of the Truly Remarkable Service Award. While humbled by all of these recognitions, the one that means the most to me is the Truly Remarkable Service Award that I have received on four separate occasions. This award is given quarterly to one agent that the brokerage has received the best feedback from the clients in regards to customer service and their level of satisfaction with their transaction. Since the award is completely client driven it means the most.
During my many years in the real estate industry, I have been heavily involved on the relocation side. I have been chosen by my managers as a go-to agent for the relocation transactions due to my success with clients’ satisfaction and my reputation as a realtor. I have been a relocation agent for P&G, Ford, GE, Milacron, Sunny Delight, and Ethicon to name a few. I grew up and have raised my family in Cincinnati, and love to help others become familiar with a city I know so well. I am passionate about showing others all it has to offer. There is something very special about being involved with clients helping them create new, wonderful memories in the next chapter of their life in a new city. Moving to a new place can be very intimidating and overwhelming and I pride myself on making it easier.
My 20 years in real estate have been enjoyable, fulfilling, and rewarding. I feel very fortunate that I have found a career that fits to my strengths and allows me to exercise my passion for helping people. I look forward to many more years of working in this career, meeting new people and helping them find their dream home, and continuing to exercise truly remarkable customer service.
