I have worked with Karen twice. Once on the purchase of a condo for my daughter and then on the sale of my house. The sale of my house was difficult for me because I had lost my husband and was moving to a retirement community. Karen was absolutely wonderful in every way helping me through the myriad complications, always there to answer questions and even pitching in when she saw the need. She is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, she listens to every concern and is a great problem solver. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

Karen Wehrli is an outstanding realtor who helped guide my brother and I in the sale of his house. She gave us helpful suggestions that increased the value of the house (i.e., painting and stripping the hardwood floors) and the contractors she recommended were reasonably priced, detailed oriented, and performed the work in a quick and efficient manner. Karen even arranged to have a cleaning service come in to do a move-out cleaning when I couldn't get any other cleaning services to call me back.

Karen is wonderful to work with. She met with my brother in the independent living facility where he now resides and explained the paperwork in detail. She is warm, friendly, has a great sense of humor and is easy to work with. She is very detail orientated and knowledgeable in the entire process of selling a house. We actually had an offer on the house the first day it was listed and the house was sold in 11 days! She was always available to answer any questions and was willing to do whatever was necessary to get the seller the best price for their house!

I highly recommend her services. She's AWESOME!

We were blessed to have Karen Wehrli of Baird & Warner sell our home. We received multiple offers during the first weekend of the open house – thanks to Karen’s hard work, professionalism, and guidance.

Karen brought great skill and comfort to every step of the process. Karen discussed the data and comps in the neighborhood. She gave us recommendations to make our home more appealing to a larger group of potential buyers. She spent hours getting our property ready to list. Karen Wehrli has become our #1 Realtor after seeing the lengths she went to when helping our friend prepare their home to be sold and helping them find their forever home. As in most homes there always seems to be something in need of repair. Need a painter, electrician or perhaps a plumber, Karen Wehrli knew who to call for prompt & reliable service.
When our family inherited two older homes and needed to sell, Karen Wehrli is the one we naturally turned to. One home was in Calumet City and one home was in the historic Pullman area of Chicago. Both homes were older and in need of some tender loving care. It all seemed overwhelming to us, but Karen Wehrli was able guide us through the process of making improvements that would enhance the marketability of the homes and of course she knew the right people to call. Once the homes were put on the market, We were delighted that the both homes seemed to sell overnight.

I have worked with Karen on both buying and selling a house. Karen was able to promptly find the perfect house for us in the nieghborhood we were interested in. Karen gave us great advice on making an offer and negotiating with the seller. Karen was extremely knowledgable and helpful in the entire home buying process from search to closing.
When selling our house Karen did a great job doing a housing market analysis to properly price our house in such a competitive market. Karen's coordination of the cleaning of our home, the staging, the pre-marketing, and the scheduling and running of our open houses could not have been smoother. When we decided on the offer Karen handled all negotiation and closing procedures and updated us at least daily. Communication with both us and interested buyers is Karen's biggest strength and by far the most important.
We were so happy with the overall process and result in selling our home in Batavia. The result could not have been better. Karen knew the market and spent the time to talk to about about comparable properties in the area to establish an asking price. Within a few days of listing, because of the open houses she hosted, we had multiple offers. Karen helped us in going through the offers and advised that we wait for the last scheduled open house before making any decisions. The last open house resulted in 2 additional offers that were both above and beyond the prior offers. It was the best decision we could have made.

Karen has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and availability is unmatched. She is quick to reply to phone calls and text messages on the same day. Her follow up to questions or concerns is also unmatched. Example: during my purchasing process, I needed to find someone who could resolve some flooring issues, this occurred during the contracting phase so it needed to happen quickly. Karen was able to make this happen within 1-2 days. Karen went above and beyond my expectations. It’s been 1 year since I closed on my home and I wanted to upgrade the lighting that would require an electrician. I mentioned this to Karen during our 1 year checkin. To my surprise and much appreciation, less than 1 week later, she provided me with the names/phone numbers of 3 electricians to chose from..:wow!
