We had to sell our house in November, not the most ideal time of year, but Kate did such an outstanding job of having it staged, photographed, inspected and prepared, that the house sold in one week without compromise. She’s easy to work with and quick to respond to questions and concerns. We would highly recommend her.

Our experience with Kate was phenomenal! We were matched with her through Zillow and my husband and I couldn’t be more pleased. We were able to find the perfect home within 3 home viewings! She communicated with our loan officer and loan coordinator! She communicated with the sellers and she set up inspections, closing date, etc. and everything legal necessary for closing on a home. We would highly recommend Kate to anyone interested in a forever home! She really will work for you! Forever grateful!

Kate is an incredible real estate agent. We’ve had bad ones and we’ve had good ones. Kate is a great one and here’s what she did that will have us recommending her for years to anyone who has real estate needs in Iowa:

1. She was communicative…by email, through text, with phone calls. She always replied to us in a timely manner and was lightning fast with scheduling visits or finding answers to our countless questions.
2. She wasn’t afraid to share her point of view…based on our interests and no one else’s. We had very unique tastes and threw a few dozen variables her way, but she never flinched. Our specific wants were her number one focus from the very beginning.
3. She was accommodating at every turn.
4. She did her homework. For every property we visited, she had extra insights and helped point out positives and negatives that we likely would have never thought about on our own.

So a big shout out to Kate…thanks so much for bending over backwards to get to know what we want and for always bending over backwards to make it convenient and as easy as possible to visit properties. We have our dream property now and Kate to thank for it!

I'm a first time home buyer, and Kate was the first, and only, realtor that my fiancee and I worked with. We felt comfortable with Kate from the start, and felt no need to go elsewhere. Kate seemed to see us as people, and not as a business transaction. That trust ultimately paid off with a home purchase in our budget, in a neighborhood we like, and a house that nearly checks all of the boxes. Kate showed us houses at odd hours, in all kinds of scary conditions, during the pandemic. Kate saved my fiancee and I thousands of dollars due to her recommendation for how much to offer, and what to ask the sellers to fix after the home inspection. Waking into a perspective house as a first time home buyer you don’t know what to look for or what to ask. Kate was not just a helpful resource when buying my first home, but a guide throughout the whole process. She helped me ask the right questions, pointed out the good and the bad, and when she didn’t know something, she went out of her way to get the answers. Yes, as a first time home buyer I had a lot of questions and was completely lost most of the time, but Kate was a steady guide (who became a friend), that through all the trepidation, helped me find the perfect first home.

My husband and I worked with Kate during the summer of 2020. Even through the pandemic, she was extremely responsive and willing to show us homes - taking Covid precautions throughout. Additionally, My husband works overseas so at times Kate would video tour a house so he could take part in the showing. We were not able to find a home we both loved, so we stopped searching and started the process of preparing to build a home.

Kate was fantastic about sending us houses that were hitting the market and (just before breaking ground) - we found the exact style of house we sought out six months earlier. Kate was about to take a well-deserved vacation, however she showed us the house in the morning and flew out in the afternoon. She prepared our offer during her time off. We are very happy in our new home and are so grateful for Kate’s hard work! She’s not only a great asset to the Dubuque realty scene, she is a kind, patient person - who is a lot of fun to
work with.

We highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for a home in the area!
