About Katherine

Katherine Carbaugh is the owner of Carbaugh Homes. She got into home staging and redesign through hers and her husband's business ventures. They are real estate investors. They buy, renovate, and resell homes. Katherine has always had a knack for design. In fact, she toyed with going to school for design but chose a bachelor’s in nursing instead. After several years of working as an RN, she went back to school to obtain her master’s in nursing and become a Nurse Practitioner. With less than a year to graduation, she suddenly realized that although she does enjoy nursing, she didn't LOVE it... and she cannot tell you how happy she is that their personal real estate investing has led her back to her true passion, design. When they finished their first flip, Katherine was so excited to furnish and decorate. Her husband initially had reservations about staging their flips and wondered if the benefit would outweigh the cost, BUT Katherine proved it was more than worth it. They were under contract in less than two weeks! Same with the next flip and so on. Their renovations and finishes were no more than the next investors and they listed at top dollar, but the staging made their listings stand out and shine! Katherine's staging proved to be successful with her first staging job. The house was on the market for 72 days. Once she staged to showcase the home's beauty and best features and the listing was updated, it was under contract in less than 5 DAYS! So here Katherine is, hoping to help buyers and agents in the Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida region to get their listings noticed and sold quickly for top dollar.
