While I loved the hustle, I wanted to complement my B.A. from the University of New Hampshire by earning a Paralegal Certification from NYU to master the "fine print." I am the living embodiment of the saying: "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl."" In 2010, my husband retired from the FDNY, and we decided to return to my home state of Maine to raise our family and reconnect with the landscapes that shaped me.
