Kathleen McGrath

Consistently named one of "America's Best" real estate agents by Real Trends and recognized as a “Top Agent” by Washingtonian Magazine, Kay McGrath has earned her reputation as a client-focused, service-oriented professional. She joined Washington Fine Properties in 2005.

In 2018, Kay generated more than $50 million in sales assisting buyers and sellers with varied objectives throughout the DC Metropolitan area. A native Washingtonian, Kay brings a unique and in-depth knowledge to her real estate practice. She accepts most clients by referral.

Kay came to real estate after helping two prominent trade associations fulfill their federal and state legislative agendas. Prior to that, she worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers advising government clients on strategic communications.

Kay has a master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University (in MD), she completed a one-year term with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, overseeing their St. Joseph's Center "Bread and Roses Cafe Program,” feeding the homeless in southern California.

Some of Kay interests include spending time with her two children, two Austrian Shepherds, and friends. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, new recipes, traveling, live music and tennis.
