Kathleen Oldfather

A graduate of Loyola University hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Kathy Oldfather made her way to the Big Island in 1978, following a sailing trip down the coast of California on a ‘96 schooner.

Kathy taught nursing at the University of Hawaii-Hilo campus before finding her calling as a real estate professional in 1980. While raising three children, she established herself as one of East Hawaii’s most prominent residential brokers. A community-minded individual, she has been a member of the Hawaii County Medical Alliance, American Association of University Women, the Filipino, Portuguese and Hawaii Island Chambers of Commerce, and a member of the United States Tennis Association. She also enjoys golfing whenever she can find the time. As a multi-million dollar sales producer, Kathy has received numerous awards, including the coveted President’s Circle award from the Prudential network and Hawaii Tribune Herald’s People’s Choice Award for Best Realtor. Evidence of Kathy's success in building trust with her clients is her ever-expanding her referral business--each referral is a genuine vote of confidence in a job well done from her past clients.
