Hi there! I am Kathie and I am so excited to possibly work with you in this wild world of real estate. The first thing you should know about me is that I am *COMMITTED*. I am committed as your formal representative to you, my client, and as a professional to this industry that I truly love. I have come to look at my clients as family and in my representation act to protect my clients as if they were my blood-relation.

How I got into real estate is a story of kismet. But before that let’s go back to the start.. Growing up I would spend a lot of time at work with my father, who hung wallpaper and painted in homes and businesses all over Siouxland. From this time spent with him, I understood from a very early age how space and design could influence one’s mood and mindset. I always loved imagining what it was like to live in the homes I would visit with my dad. I envisioned myself as the owners in their chef’s kitchen, master en suite, finished basement, enchanted garden yard, and could truly feel exactly how the spaces would add function and form to everyday life. This influenced my decision to attempt architecture as a major and while this didn’t pan out, I have to reflect back and think how amazing it is that life takes you to where you are supposed to be if you truly listen to callings.

Fast forward to 2015, after 7 years of college studies and three years into the realm of which I had dedicated many years of my life. Driving home for lunch one day I had an epiphany —a gut feeling that real estate was my next calling. I heeded that intuitiveness all those years ago and here I am today as one of Siouxland’s top real estate agents and possibly helping you!

Some things that have shaped me are the facts that I am: an oldest child, and was an only child for 11 years; introverted, really an INTJ; a problem solver; analytical thinker; radical strategist; interior design and architecture lover; armchair psychologist/sociologist/historian; nature enthusiast; book lover; yoga and exercise lover; rescue dog mom; golfer extraordinaire wanna be; fall lover; and so much more.
