About Kathy
I love my job, it's like matchmaking! Buying or selling a home can be intimidating at times, but I want to make it exciting and rewarding for you. I have many years of marketing, sales, and real estate experience, but what I bring most to you are personal touches... from helping to prepare and stage your home for sale, trudging through a snowstorm to find your dream home, to making sure the closing goes smoothly. After the move, I keep in touch; you'll always know how the market is doing in your neighborhood. My clients become like family. Come and join my family!
I am excited to help you find your dream home and/or sell your current home or investment.
Kathy grew up the eldest of nine children in Erlanger and has lived in Greater Cincinnati her whole life. She attended St. Henry School and Northern Kentucky University, and obtained real estate licenses for both Ohio and Kentucky in 1993. She and her husband, Scott, were blessed with twins in 1996, and in 2000 she temporarily suspended her real estate career to spend more time with her children. While the twins were in grade school, she was fortunate to work as a preschool teacher and second grade instructional assistant. The twins are graduates of UC and WKU. Since re-activating her Kentucky license in January 2013, she has met some wonderful people and matched them with some beautiful homes.
Kathy is professionally affiliated with the Kentucky Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors, and Northern Kentucky Multiple Listing Service. She has achieved many professional achievements and honors including 1993 Rookie Agent of the Year; Top Club 2014, 15, 16 & 17; Top 150 Agents in NKY; Sterling Club 2017 & 2023, International Diamond Society 2017, 18, International Presidents Circle 2019, 20, 21, 22. Cincinnati Magazine Top Real Estate Agents. Prior to her time in real estate, Kathy worked in radio and television advertising sales and marketing for 15 years. She met many interesting people (including Scott) and the experience proved valuable to her future endeavors. Her marketing and PR background continue to serve her well in the real estate field. She and Scott have bought, sold, and rehabbed homes—from a hundred-year-old house to new construction— so she understands exactly what it’s like being on the other side of the closing table. As a lifetime resident of Greater Cincinnati, Kathy has a strong commitment to the community and believes in giving back. She was a Girl Scout leader for 6 years... sold a lot of cookies! She is a Fairy Godmother with Cinderella's Closet, "Turning Dresses into Dreams", a cause very near to her heart. She has been a board member of PTO and volunteered her time to Dixie Heights High School’s theater program, and is involved with Coldwell Banker’s Blue Gives Back.
