About Katie

Katie Clark is the Broker/Owner of Corner Post Real Estate, LLC. She was raised in the world of real estate. Her mom, Caroline Cornett, was a Broker in Hemphill County for more than 30 years. Her dad, Dan Cornett, is a retired County Extension Agent of 30 years. Katie’s parents relocated/retired to Fredericksburg, Texas in 2014 from her hometown of Canadian, Texas. Katie enjoyed a farm/ranch upbringing around the 4-H program and was active in the community and school. She followed her education to Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science in 1997. Katie went to work for Excel Beef, a division of Cargill Foods and worked as a Sales Account Manager in Columbus, OH in 1997, then transferred to San Antonio, TX in 1998.
Katie has lived in San Marcos and Seguin since 1998. She has two teenagers that are active in Navarro ISD (sports, band, UIL, and FFA), Guadalupe County and Navarro 4-H and Friedens Church. Katie volunteers with the Navarro Education Foundation, Navarro 4-H Club, Navarro Band Boosters, Navarro FFA Boosters, and is an avid supporter of youth in the community.
With real estate, Katie serves in leadership for the Four Rivers Association of Realtors serving Guadalupe, Comal, Hays and surrounding counties. She is President for 2020. Katie was on the Board of Directors for the Central Texas MLS 2011-2012 and has provided numerous years of service on the FRAR BOD. Katie is a graduate of the Texas Realtors Leadership Program and participates in the weekly Seguin Home Tours to stay familiar with all the real estate available. The relationships that she has fostered with both realtors and affiliates in the area play a key part in serving her clients. Katie believes in having a family owned and operated business and emphasizes providing the best service possible. She believes in hard work and is passionate about real estate.
