Katie Kutscher

Katie Kutscher is a native Detroiter with over 20 years of experience in sales,
marketing and brand building. She received a BA in Communications from
Michigan State University and began her career in New York City rising to the
position of New York Region Marketing Director at the Universal Music Group.
Soon Katie’s true entrepreneurial spirit took hold, and she successfully
transitioned her career to the hospitality industry where she built and opened
two music and art focused bars and restaurants in Lower East Side of
Manhattan. After getting married and having two children she decided it was
time to take her talents back to Michigan where she settled in Huntington
Woods. In 2016 she purchased a piece of commercial real estate in Berkley
where she opened the Berkley Common Bar & Restaurant, a much-loved gastro
pub and event space in the heart of the city. Katie takes pride in her community
and sits on the board of directors of The Berkley Chamber of Commerce as well
as volunteering with the Huntington Woods Men’s Club and Berkley’s DDA
assisting in the development and progress of the downtown area. Katie was
proud to receive the Businessperson of the Year award (2022) from the Berkley
Chamber. With Katie being consistently recognized as a top producer
she is thrilled to bring her skillsets, enthusiasm and energy to Real Estate One in Royal Oak.
