Katie Townsend has a genuine passion for real estate and is the enthusiastic leader of our team. Her love of sales and working with people lead her to pursue a career in real estate, and she now has over 15 years of knowledge in her field. Katie is college-educated, and she is very active in the professional community as a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Tennessee Realtors & Central West TN Association of Realtors volunteering her time as a commitment to excellence in the profession. She serves on numerous committees within the realtor organizations and has served at TN Realtors as Divisional Vice President for her region and as immediate past president of CWTAR, having served as president in 2020. As a firm believer of affordable homeownership, homeowner rights and making sure there is a voice in the political arena for home owners she is a major investor in the advocacy side of real estate through RPAC to better her clients/customers. She continuously pursues up-to-date training in real estate, which is highlighted by her many certifications, including MGRI, MRP, SRS, SFR, RCS-D, PSA, and C2EX. Katie is originally from Mississippi and currently lives in Darden with her husband David and their four dogs. She enjoys trying new recipes and playing on the family farm.

As a very active member in her communities Katie believes in loving where you live & contributing to where you live. She is active in the Lexington Civic League and is an officer as well, the Lexington Rotary Club (President 2019-2020), Decatur County Schools Advisory Board, Miss Parsons pageant BOD and is willing to help whenever and wherever she can.
