Katie Rothacker

People joke about being born into a business, but for Katie Rothacker, it’s true. As a second-generation real estate professional, twelve-year-old Katie was regularly answering phones and filing documents for her mother at Market Capital Mortgage in Riverside, CA. By 16 she was helping her mother process loan documents, and at 19, Katie opened her own successful short sale business, Short Sale Resolution Services. Working on behalf of sellers that found themselves at risk of foreclosure, Katie negotiated with loss mitigation departments to facilitate short sales for clients aiming to avoid foreclosure and credit ruin. She’s never known another industry, and she’s never wanted to.

Later moving her career solely into real estate sales, Katie’s success in the industry is no doubt largely due to her foundational understanding of loan processing and the negotiation skills that she honed during dicey short sale transactions. Katie also has tremendous people skills and an empathetic heart. As an excellent communicator with a work ethic that exceeds expectations, Katie knows that accessibility and accountability form the backbone of successful client relationships and ethical business. Driven by compassion and integrity, Katie prides herself on offering a professional service built on partnership. She believes in accomplishing goals together.

Katie lives in the community she serves, and while she values her ability to serve it professionally, she’s also driven to care for it personally. Frequently volunteering with Feeding America and at the VA hospital, Katie has come to know and love the people of this diverse region. Ultimately, that’s the crux of her love for the industry. Every day, Katie gets to partner with people pursuing their dreams in the place she loves.
