Kay Petty

Kay is a Middle Tennessee Land and Farm Specialist and is happy to assist sellers and buyers across Middle Tennessee with southern hospitality. With over 39 years of full-time real estate experience in Middle Tennessee, she has been ranked in the top percentage of her office in sales production over the past several years.

She is a member of the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Realtors Land Institute, holding the Realtor Green Designation and being the 11th Realtor in the State of Tennessee to Acquire the Master GRI Designation. She is also a member of the South Carolina/North Carolina & Georgia State RLI Chapters.

Her office is at the Auction and Land Division in Murfreesboro, but she lives in Bedford County and lists and sells real estate across Middle Tennessee. She moved to Middle Tennessee from her home state of South Carolina and graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1972. She attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S Degree in Agriculture and a master’s degree in Vocational-Technical Education.

She continues to take continuing education classes and add to her designations to better serve the sellers and buyers with whom she works. All agents are trained to sell houses. However, not all have a true understanding of farm and land sales.

Kay is licensed in the State of Georgia and belongs to the Georgia and Savannah Association of Realtors. She has been married to Dan A. Petty from Shelbyville since June 16, 1974. Additional interests include photography, antiques, and their home on Tybee Island, GA.
