BEFORE REAL ESTATE: Originally from small-town Odebolt, IA, Kayla was deeply involved in sports growing up. She later attended Simpson College, where she played collegiate golf and earned a degree in Exercise Science. Her career took an unexpected turn when she joined the automotive industry, spending nearly 12 years at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships in Iowa and Michigan. As Director of Finance, Kayla gained valuable experience in leadership, customer service, and negotiation, all of which directly complement her work in real estate.
THE REAL ESTATE TRANSITION: In 2023, Kayla and her husband, Bill, transitioned into real estate, where they quickly made a name for themselves. In Kayla’s first 7 months, she earned Top Producer of the Year and Rookie of the Year, along with a spot in the Weichert Executive Club. By the end of her first full year, she closed 35 transactions and nearly $9M in volume. Bill & Kayla continued to shine in 2024, earning Top Producer status for Q1-Q3 and the coveted Best of Zillow Agent title. Kayla also shared her expertise as a Featured Guest on The Lofty Lender Podcast. In October 2024, Bill and Kayla made an exciting move to 515 Realty Company, where they are now poised to grow their own team and take their real estate careers to new heights. Here’s to 2025!
OUTSIDE OF REAL ESTATE: They love anything outdoors—sporting events, farmers markets, you name it. They’re also big fans of comedies, spending time with family & their two pups, and of course, traveling—their bucket list is to hit all 50 states!
