Kelly Shipes

I grew up in the charming southern city of Savannah, Georgia. I spent majority of my life in Savannah and graduating from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2001. I had the honor and privilege of attending AASU on a volleyball scholarship. While in college I coached Junior Olympic volleyball for Low Country Volleyball Club.
After graduation, while continuing to coach youth and high school volleyball, I worked in Food and Beverage industry as well as I ran a Multi-Million Dollar Store for Limited Brands. In 2006, I moved into the finance industry at HSBC Beneficial. But, not too far behind was the Crash of 2007. With a change in the economy came a change in careers. I took a leap into the judicial system working as a Civil and Domestic clerk for two Chatham County Superior Court Judges.
In 2010, I moved to Central Florida with my family. I started working for The Villages Commercial Property Management. In 2013, I entered the world of real estate and I have loved every minute of this every changing career and all the wonderful friendships I have forged along the way.
I am very blessed to have loving husband, two boys and a stepdaughter. My youngest is William. He loves horses and dirt bikes. My oldest is Riley. His passions are blacksmithing/welding, trucks and dirt bikes. My stepdaughter works as a Fire Fighter/EMT for Marion County. My husband, while being the best husband and father in the world, helps me manage to keep it all rolling in the same direction.
I have always been an outdoors kind of girl. Being the oldest of three daughters, my dad raised me to be rough and tumble. I love hunting, fishing, boating, mud-bogging and volleyball. Once here in Florida I took up boxing and kickboxing and most recently skydiving. I started my own volleyball club, Serving Tri-County Volleyball, in 2020 and have both girls and boys teams.
I bring a wealth of knowledge on local communities, current market conditions, and the home buying and selling process.
