Kelly Shipley

Kelly is a Pacific Northwest Native! She grew up on Mercer Island, graduated from Mercer Island High School and went on to graduate from the University of Washington. While in college she worked for one of the first home inspection companies in the Greater Seattle Area. She loved learning about houses and all their problems! She ended up getting trained and licensed as a home inspector and enjoyed that career for over 25 years.

The last few years as a home inspector she began mentoring other "soon to be" home inspectors and really enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience with them. She loves real estate because she continues to share that knowledge with her home buyers and sellers while also getting to spend more time with people and utilize her negotiation skills. She considers it a privilege to be part of people's lives as they go through upsizing or downsizing, or any types of changes life may present them. No one understands how to evaluate the condition and potential of a house like an experienced home inspector.

Over the last 30 years, Kelly has earned a strong reputation for being thorough and detail-oriented, always putting her extensive knowledge to work for her clients. She is passionate about houses.
