As a military spouse and while working with the U.S. Department of State, Keri developed a passion for communication, negotiations, relationship building, adaptability, dependability, and challenging work. Keri and her husband returned to Chelsea in 2017 to reconnect with their deep local roots and raise their two boys near family, friends, and Michigan outdoor adventures. She was honored to be elected to a six-year term as a Chelsea Board of Education trustee, she is active in local athletic and community events, she is honing her carpentry skills while renovating a recently purchased home (Oh, you're considering buying a fixer and getting into a little DIY? Keri will candidly share her experience and provide honest answers to "Could this wall be moved?" questions!) and, as often as possible, she squeezes in some running, traveling, skiing, or catching up with friends and her big, crazy, super-fun family.
