I called Kerri from another state and explained to her a variety of situations that I would like to pursue including buying a low price property and converting to a rental, buying a foreclosure, buying a nice house, etc. She was receptive to all of my ideas. As our situation evolved, she was able to support us. She always answered my phone calls or called back very promptly, which some of the other agents I called did not do. I was not working with a relocation company. What I really want in a buyers agent is the ability to set up a series of appointments to see a lot of houses in a few days. Kerri absolutely delivered, and although the market was not a buyers market at the time, we found the house we were after. She was always available and very professional. I really enjoyed working with her. I would definitely recommend her to any home buyer in the Janesville area (I don't have experience with her as a seller, but would recommend reading her seller's reviews). If you are looking for someone who is available, willing to work with your schedule, and will make you her priority, she is a great pick. Everything I expect from a great real estate agent. I decided to sell my house after moving out of state and called Kerri as she originally helped me purchase my home 7 years prior. From that very first phone call, the communication felt similar to picking up where you left off with an old friend. I explained to Kerri that this time around posed more of a challenge because I had started a new job and wouldn’t have the availability I did when I initially purchased the home. Kerri put my mind at ease and said that it would be no problem. Within a week, Kerri had organized local cleaning services, window washing services and had staged the house to be sold. The house looked so nice on the listing that I even contemplated moving back into it! Just as I remembered, she was proactive with her communication and always delivered far above my expectations. Kerri listed my home on a Saturday afternoon and dedicated her weekend to selling my house. By Sunday night, I received a detailed spreadsheet inclusive of the different offers that were extended over the weekend and how each would impact the proceeds that I would receive at closing. Even from miles away, I had everything I needed to make an informed decision. 48 hours and 4 offers later, I was able to accept a full price offer. Not bad for a weekend’s worth of work! If you’re looking for a personable, down to earth, honest, knowledgable, and hard working real estate agent, look no further. Most people cringe when they think of commission fees, but have no doubt, she will work to earn her money. As a first time seller, I went through multiple sites and filtered through reviews to find an agent to represent my interests. There were two properties I needed sold, one personal and the other inherited. Because I wanted to move out of state, I knew I needed to make changes to both properties for marketability. I already had plans in place to fully renovate the inherited property, and make desirable but cost effective updates to the personal. Kerri was essential to the process with her market, sales, and business knowledge. From the initial call to meet, she was ready to get to work. We walked through both properties (which were still a work in progress) and was honest in what I would expect in terms of fees associated with the sale. With her experience as a renovator and seller, she looked through the plans I had for both properties and approved of all the decisions I’d made. She was very thorough and extremely considerate of the budget and timeframe I had to work with. The finishing touches for both properties were from companies that were very cost effective and efficient based on her recommendation, i.e. power washing the exterior, cleaning up the interior/exterior of the windows, landscaping, runners… Throughout the entire process she communicated thoroughly and promptly whether by phone, text, or email depending on what the information she needed to relay demanded. I never felt out of the loop or overwhelmed. From the start she would ask for my feedback and approval through every step: from the listing description, to pictures, to any suggestions showing agents mentioned. When offers came in, she was direct with what she thought was fair and asked if I agreed or had any other suggestions to compromise with. From the time of listing, it only took two months for both properties to be sold and closed on, which in a cooling market, speaks volumes for her efficiency and drive. She is not a sole agent, in which I mean, she works with a partner, Bob, who also helps keep the business moving behind the scenes. They went above and beyond any expectations I had, in their guidance and willingness to help make sure things were accomplished. Another issue I had, which isn’t uncommon in unoccupied listings, is market fraud. There were several times somebody attempted to fraudulently lease out my properties through Craigslist and other online sites, and were stopped swiftly by Kerri. This is important to know because the police are unable to do anything in that situation, so you need to have an agent that will deal with the situation. So rest assured, with her experience and motivation, whatever house you are looking to sell or buy, she will listen, respect your budget, and do everything in her power to help you through what can sometimes be a tedious process.
