Kevin is an active member of the Fort Payne Optimist Club and has served as President, Vice President and Board Member. He is past President of the Fort Payne Jaycees and past State Vice President of the Alabama Jaycees and was awarded State Vice President of the Year. He has been involved with the United Givers Fund (UGF).

Kevin attended both Auburn University and Jacksonville State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Kevin is a member of First Baptist Church - Fort Payne.

With my son's permission i am submitting this in his behalf, Brodie "Bo" Smith. He saw a farm next to our newly purchased home and fell in love with it. He turned 21, we discussed it in depths bc it's always been his dream, so i told him ultimately it's his choice and for him to call Kevin and only deal with Kevin. We met with Kevin, and after much discussion between Kevin, Bo and myself, Bo was comfortable and decided to go after his dream. With Bo working the hours he does, he asked Kevin if it was ok if i wa involved in the process to help not just Bo but also Kevin bc Bo can be difficult to contact during the day. Kevin was absolutely so understanding and on several occasions i know he went above and beyond to accommodate Bo's schedule. Bo absolutely had the best experience with Kevin helping, guiding and treating him as he genuinely cared (we know he does) and it meant so much to Bo and sure calmed my concerns knowing he was in great hands. Bo nor i could ever express the gratitude we will forever have for Kevin helping Bo achieve his lifetime dream of having a farm, and he's just 21. Kevin you've left a mark in his life for one of the most important decisions a young man can make and we are both eternally grateful for you! Your a genuinely kind, respectful and humble man who does the right thing. Thank you for being you and being a part of Bo's biggest moment of his life!
