When my wife and I decided to shop for our first home, a friend recommended that we call Kim to be our realtor. We just finalized the purchase of our new house, and were thrilled about the experience, mostly because of Kim. We had so many questions, like how home loan to value is calculated, and what documents should be signed vs negotiating for a better deal. She was available late at night, on weekends, and at odd hours to answer those questions, and she really went the extra mile to make the process make sense. There were some bumps in the road as far as adjustments to price, interest rates, and incentives, including some things that changed last minute. In every case, Kim was there to make the situation clear, negotiating loan and inspection repair terms, and generally being our advocate. We ended up getting a great price, a number of extra small defects fixed, and a whole lot of peace of mind through her influence on the process. Additionally, we found out that the amount the seller would pay (the realtor fee) was only 3/4 of her usual fee. Despite that, she didn't push us to other houses and sellers that might be better for her, and she clearly had our best interests at heart. In short, we highly recommend Kim Fanning to anyone who wants an experienced ally and guide on their homebuying experience.

Kim is an incredible realtor. She is extremely friendly and personable. She was always quick to respond to us, and never seemed to mind even if we were texting or emailing her with questions late at night. We absolutely felt she had our best interest at heart, even steering us away from several houses that were more expensive (so she could have potentially made more money) in favor of ones that were a better fit for our family. She would drop everything to help us see a home we were interested in on short notice, even on weekends, and was always willing to get on phone calls with us and help us understand every step of the process or negotiate with different parties along the way. She is well-connected in this area, and her wealth and breadth of experience clearly shows. She was able to connect us with people throughout the home-buying process who were trust-worthy, reliable, and easy to work with. She consistently made us feel like we were her only clients (even though we know she’s very busy!), even spending her birthday with us closing on our new home. Everyone always says buying a home is incredible stressful and daunting, but Kim made this process a breeze (even as first-time home-buyers). We could not have found a better realtor, and Kim has our highest, heart-felt recommendation.

Throughout the process we never felt pressured to just buy any house - she was invested as much as we were in making sure the house was a great fit for us. For anyone out there looking for a realtor who will truly look out for their interests, call Kim! She is thorough, professional, and will always keep the clients' interests protected. Kim helped us find our home, often with multiple home viewings at a time. She worked relentlessly trying to present all the options we were trying to capture. We would not have been able to find the house, put an offer in, and close without her help due to the very tight window we were dealing with. Truly one of the best. Kim has been a pleasure and blessing to work with when my husband and I were looking around in hopes of buying our first home last year.
