About Kimbel

As a Wilson County native there are a few things Kimbel Mengelberg knows: one, the Wilson County Fair is in August; two, Wilson County is the home of Cracker Barrel, and three, there is no place like home. After graduating from Lebanon High School in 2004, Kimbel enrolled at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN where she was a member of the Women’s Track and Field team for two seasons. With two years of college under her belt, Kimbel traveled to Knoxville, TN to finish her education with a degree in Enterprise Management and Marketing from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols!!!

Currently residing in Mt. Juliet, Kimbel has had the opportunity to go through Leadership Wilson, as well as compete in Sherry’s Run, Go-Johnny-Go 5K, Music City Half Marathon and the Anchor Splash Sprint Tri-Athlon. With the combination of a competitive spirit and a family background in real estate, she decided to join Blackwell Realty & Auction in April of 2013. Kimbel and her husband, Eston Mengelberg, opened Mengelberg Construction, LLC in October 2015 and specialize in remodels and new builds. Since her time in real estate, their team have closed over 500 real estate transaction, Kimbel has gained a world of knowledge in all aspects of real estate.
