About Kimberlie

Kim is a native of Marshall County born, raised, and married in Bremen. She is a grandma to five grandchildren, a mom to three, and has a bulldog named Champ.

Growing up her parents owned and operated a large restaurant and shopping plaza; her time there became the start of serving in her community. After her first two children were born, Kim decided that she would become and EMT because she really loved helping others, so she began her career working in the medical field. After her time at the EMS, Kim began working in the ER where she remained for 15 years. She also worked in the education department teaching classes and educating others as well as working her 24hr shifts in the ambulance. Kim has now served in the emergency setting as a paramedic for 30 years and 20 of those years with Tri-County Ambulance Service.

As a cancer survivor of nine years, she realized that serving her community and giving back was what found her most fulfilled. She took on the roll at Tri-County for Breast Cancer Awareness in designing shirts, and selling them in the surrounding counties at hospitals, medical facilities, and anyone who would like to purchase them. All proceeds were donated locally to help others with expenses while fighting their biggest battle.

Kim’s free time is spent attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She says it is her, “relaxing time” and would not miss them for anything. Kim is also big on whole family vacations. Her husband Shane and the entire family can be found on the beaches of Florida or other parts of the country living it up when time permits. With all the hustle and bustle in the modern world, Kim feels that family vacations are just the medicine everyone needs to get back to their roots, enjoy, and remember why they love each other.

Kim has over 30 years of experience in public service and is now following a lifelong dream of helping people in a different role.
