About Kimberly
Born in Chicago and raised in Denver, Colorado, Kimberly Oleson has made the Coachella Valley her home for the past 30 years. As a former local practicing Real Estate and Business Attorney, Kimberly is not only a Realtor but an advisor who goes above and beyond for each client regardless of price point. She is a skilled communicator and negotiator.
Kimberly is intimately familiar with the changing demographics of the Desert. Having been involved in all aspects of real estate from land acquisition, entitlement, and homeowner's associations, Kimberly brings a higher level of understanding and knowledge to the purchase and sale of real estate. Kimberly and her husband have raised 3 children in the Coachella Valley and are highly knowledgeable of the Desert's various public and private school choices as well as the various extracurricular activities available in the Coachella Valley. Having been a member at several local country clubs as well as representing numerous country clubs during her legal career, Kimberly can help you find which club fits your lifestyle.
Kimberly is also passionate about giving back. While practicing law, she served as the incorporating attorney for numerous local charities including The Children's Discovery Museum, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Coachella Valley, The Palm Springs Air Museum, and The Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation. She has also served as a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, and other outreach activities with her children and their schools. Kimberly also finds ways to give back with real estate transactions she is involved in. She is a corporate companion of Xavier College Prep and has recently committed to giving back to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital as part of Coldwell Banker’s newly announced partnership.
When she is not working hard to help her clients achieve their goals, Kimberly enjoys hiking, fitness, tennis, golf, reading, cooking, and most of all spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys dining out at some of the Desert’s many exceptional restaurants. Kimberly earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of San Diego and her Juris doctorate at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kimberly’s husband is the managing partner of the Indian Wells office of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard, and Smith and is the chair of their national real estate practice group. Along with their youngest son, they reside and play at Rancho La Quinta Country Club.
