About Kimberly
Kim moved with her family to Ocala when she was nine years old. Growing up in Ocala, she has also witnessed growth in the surrounding area. Kim was fortunate to participate in various student and cultural exchange programs, which, in addition to providing her with different travel and cultural experiences, allowed her to grasp Spanish. Kim brings a unique skill set to the Terra Vista Home Team. She spent the first half of her career in the travel industry. She honed her skills to work with the public as a Cruise Ship Hostess and Shore Excursion Manager at sea, a Travel Agent, and a Cast Member at Epcot – all of which required superior customer service and interaction. Kim has a knack for technology which opened doors for her at American Airlines’ Sabre division, where she held various roles in travel technology. She moved through the ranks as a trainer and into different account management and director roles, requiring and developing skills in vendor and customer relationship management, financial analysis, and contract negotiations. All skills that she now calls on daily as a Realtor.
Since leaving Ocala, Kim has moved over 15 times. During her travel career, Kim averaged a move every two years to many great cities in the US, which sparked another passion: Real Estate. Moving makes one quite familiar with the process and a great resource! When it came time to leave the world of travel, Kim decided to pursue her passion for real estate. Beginning her real estate career in Tampa in 2006, her timing was not the best – starting in real estate at the top of the Florida boom, just in time to experience the market free fall. It was tough, but she persevered, survived the market, and received one of the best real estate education possible. She moved through the brokerage ranks where, in addition to running her own real estate business, she became a Training Director and Mentor overseeing the training of new agents.
Kim found the key to her success, regardless of the market, was something that had always served her well: her ability to listen, develop relationships, and put her customer’s needs first. Desiring to move closer to family in Ocala, Kim joined the New Home Sales Team at the Villages of Citrus Hills. She fell in love with the community and made her home in Citrus Hills. Using her skills, Kim sold new homes in Citrus Hills by establishing solid relationships with her customers, focusing on their needs, and providing exceptional follow-up and customer service. She has now brought her knowledge of Citrus Hills New Home Sales back to her first love – general real estate – with Berkshire Hathaway and the Terra Vista Home Team.
