Kisha Martin-Burney

Kisha Martin-Burney, a.k.a The DMV Real Estate Diva, current Realtor with Real Estate, Chevy Chase Md. Kisha has been a licensed realtor in DC and Maryland since 2002. Kisha founded the Martin-Burney Group in 2014. A native Washingtonian, Kisha has celebrated many awards both at work and in the community. Kisha has received several awards with Remax Realty Centre, who she was Licensed with from 2007 -20019, with the latest, the Platinum Club in 2017 & 2018 and Remax Hall of Fame in 2018, other awards and recognition include consecutive months as Top Producer for Individual and Team, including being recognized in Remax Million Dollar Monthly Club. Kisha was also featured in the Washingtonian Magazine in 2018 as one of the Top in Washington, DC.

Not only is Kisha a phenomenal Agent, but also a model humanitarian. She was a top contributor to the Children Miracle Network, and committee member of volunteers for the Children Miracle Network Silent Auction Gala. Passionate about giving back to the community, she has her first homeless blanket drive in December of 2014. She also walked 39 miles in 2013 for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk in 2013. Kisha is also a Co-Chair for Public Relations with the non-profit organization “Black Girls Rock, DMV”. Kisha is also a Co-Author in a book Collaboration to be released in June 2018 “Faith for Fiery Trials”.

Kisha brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Real Estate, specializing in first time home buyers, short sales, probate, estate, foreclosures, and investment properties. She is mother of 5 children, 3 grandchildren and happily married to her soul mate, Sherrod. When she is not trail blazing and giving back to the community, she enjoys cooking, catering, and assisting her daughter Jada Chanel, with her music career.
