About Krasi
Krasi Henkel | Lifestyle Curator
Please note - I am not simply an agent - I am founder, CEO, and broker of Properties on the Potomac, Inc. (a 10 agent brokerage) I lead my company to curate lifestyle-driven real estate decisions for my /our clients. My systems and careful direction result in excellent real estate outcomes.
Because my time is spent directly in service mastery, I am selective with whom I align and only focus on people who expect and appreciate impeccable service.
I am in the people business. No property is too small or too big for impeccable service. My clients’ goals and vision drive my work.
If you are a serious, sophisticated real estate consumer who expects to be heard and understood, and who values fast, comprehensive thinking followed by decisive execution, I just might be your person.
As Broker and Founder of Properties on the Potomac, Inc., a boutique firm serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, my practice is intentionally selective. I am relationship-driven, grounded in rigorous analysis, negotiation, and long-range thinking. I work with clients who value intelligence, discretion, and outcomes that endure.
Before entering real estate, I earned degrees in accounting, finance, and economics. My career began at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, where I advanced from auditor to division director over eleven years. In 1986, I made a decisive transition into real estate. That decision remains among the most consequential choices of my life.
Since then, I have navigated multiple market cycles, both up and down. My work involves transactions that extend well beyond residential sales. My expertise in land, equestrian estates, investment properties, multiple income streams, custom and new construction, a variety of off-market transactions, positions me to be an effective representative for your transaction(s).
I advise on business purchases and sales requiring comprehensive financial evaluation, both for accurate pricing and for lender review. These engagements demand careful analysis of financial statements, cash flow, risk exposure, and long-term viability. I assist my investor clients with complex transactions, including 1031 exchanges. This requires sustained focus, precision, and a significant investment of time. I invest in my clients’ success with my time and expertise.
Much of my work is not reflected in automated statistics or public-facing platforms. The numbers in the statistics below are limited to conventional residential real estate only.
For me, success is measured by the quality of outcomes, the strength of strategy, and the trust placed in me by clients navigating consequential decisions.
My approach calls on my Master Negotiation education from Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation and decades of hands-on market experience. Every client engagement begins with listening, analysis, and clarity of purpose.
As a Lifestyle Curator, I combine technology with a deeply personal, white-glove level of service. I intentionally structured my firm to provide the attention, creative problem-solving, and discretion that many brokerages cannot replicate.
My joy comes from client satisfaction. No transaction is too big or too small. Whether you are acquiring your first home, repositioning assets, transitioning into a new chapter, structuring a complex exchange, or building a sophisticated real estate or business portfolio, taking the time to understand your full vision is my objective.
If you value strategy over noise, quality over volume, and expertise grounded in exp
