I chose Kristen Cook because she is known in the neighborhood as the most prolific broker for the Cambridge Heights community. She gave effective advice for me to de-clutter for the photo shoot and showing. Photos by her professional photographer came out great, and included outdoor aerial pictures taken by a drone camera. She referred me to a helpful attorney. She explained what I needed to do prior to the local municipal inspection. Kristen responded quickly to calls from me and from buyers' brokers. Helped me to de-stress!

Kristen is a true professional and saying that she is great at her job is an understatement. As first time home buyers we were very intimidated by the process, but working with Kristen made what is a stressful and difficult process much more bearable. She helped us navigate any issues that arose and was always available no matter the day or time to help and guide us. Kristen is so amazing and I highly encourage anyone looking to put your trust in her. My husband and I just purchased our first home and it could not have happened without her. We were super nervous with the process as we were first time buyers, but Kristen listened to our wants/needs and made it very clear that she was there for us from start to finish. From our first house viewing and then now to our final walk through/closing we were so grateful for Kristen.

She is knowledgeable, resourceful, trustworthy and so personable! For many buying a home can be very a scary, overwhelming, and frustrating process but Kristen truly made the difference. It was a pleasant experience and we cannot thank her enough for that.

Kristen started out as our property manager, then our real estate broker and ended up as friends. The best kind of relationship we could ask for, with Kristen. What makes Kristen great?

Our experience - on many occasions - proved that she is trustworthy and knowledgeable about her expertise, which is real estate. She will not steer you wrong as a client and she always has your best interest. There are times when we may have faltered but, she has corrected the course and dealt with the situation as if it were her own money. With Kristen it is not about dollars and cents, it is the relationship. She builds one so that a client is retained for life.

We wish she was living in WA and / or could manage things here for us. There is no doubt in our minds that we would work with her again, should the opportunity present itself.

In the meantime - we continue as friends!

Our experience with Kristin was a pleasure from the beginning to end. Fist, she is just a very nice person. It isn't about the money, she really does want her clients to be happy. You can always get in contact with her and she never made us feel like we were asking too many questions. Quite the opposite, she will go out of her way to give you more than what you are asking for. We used her referrals for the lender and attorney and both were as professional and knowledgable in their respective fields. Everyone walked us through this process and reminded us when we forgot or were coming up on a deadline. She is the only realtor we plan on using as long as we are in NJ.

Kristen was my former neighbor several years ago. She was always a pleasure to speak with and was very personable. I made her a promise "if" I ever was going to sell my home, I would utilize her. Well, the time came, guessing about 10 years later, I contemplated selling my home. I contacted Kristen. She listened as a friend, was there for me with my emotions, and was never "pushy" just to get the listing. She waited for me to be "ready" and guided me both professionally and personally throughout the process. I had limited time and needed some updating done. Kristen found me reputable electricians, painters, and handymen that did great work and were reasonably priced. I could not have handled allot of these steps without her help. Kristen is a smart woman, I admire her for her hard work, knowledge, and passion she has for her career and her clients. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a realtor that cares about the "individual", and not just another sale!

If you're reading this - congratulations! You are among a minority of people who actually conduct due diligence and take the home buying process very seriously. You've also stumbled upon one of the most exceptional and competent real estate professionals out there.

I have very high standards and expectations for anyone I choose to work with and Kristen met (if not exceeded) every one of them. I screened about 10 realtors and then interviewed 3 before choosing to work Kristen. She delivered on every single criteria that matters when choosing a realtor: responsive, great reviews online, solid referrals, strong communication skills, candid yet professional, and relevant real estate transaction experience (i.e., she has just about seen it all, no novice here!).

In this real estate market, you need someone cunning to be your in your corner and advocate for you throughout the closing process. Kristen generously overdelivers here. A bonus of working with Kristen is that she has a knack for developing relationships and has built an impressive network of professionals to support any transaction. For example, she had an AMAZING inspector to refer us to, who honestly saved us about $5K towards closing costs. Moreover, she knows how certain realtors operate and knows how to assemble the most competitive offer possible on a home. You'd think it's solely about the price (which of course does matter), but the devil is in the details. The home we eventually bought had over 10 offers and our offer was tied for the highest - the seller chose ours based on the creativity that Kristen exemplified with our offer. Ours was very competitive, but we still felt protected with opportunities to back out if we had any surprises in the closing process.

The last point I'd like to make is perhaps what I admire most about Kristen. It is 100% clear that she cares deeply for any client she takes on. Other realtors I had considered came across as very transactional and didn't always feel like they had our best interest in mind. My wife and I never felt like this was the case with Kristen. Okay, stop reading and walk... no RUN to Kristen now and get your dream home already. She's a gem.

As a first time home buyer during an intense real estate market in the midst of a pandemic I can honestly say I couldn’t have gotten through it without Kristen. I knew nothing about buying a house and the bidding wars were beyond intimidating. She was super responsive and always right there - I felt very supported throughout the entire process and confident in my decisions. She always looked out for my best interest. She answered every question I had and comped every house I was interested in / put offers on – always right on the money.

Once my offer was accepted she recommended a very thorough inspector. This inspector used a drone (not all inspectors do this) and found that the roof on the house was only half done when the SD had it listed as a ‘new roof replaced in 2020’. Kristen took immediate action resulting in a fully finished roof prior to moving in.

The whole process went so incredibly smooth - it speaks volumes on her professionalism and her strong stance in the market. It was a very tough time to be a buyer and she always came with a positive attitude, accurate information and never gave up on helping me find my home. I would choose Kristen hands down every time.

I am one of the crazy people who decided to buy a house in the 2020/2021 market and I would not have gotten a house I loved and could qualify for without Kristen Cook. Kristen is exactly what you want in a realtor. She knows her business very well. Her assessment of a property via comps and experience was dead on every time. She provided the information needed to present a strong offer, and to understand the threshold of overpaying. Real estate is a very people oriented and network based business. Kristen is a perfect example of this. She referred a lender who was great to work with. I did speak to other lenders and none felt right. The lender Kristen referred did a great job of explaining everything and answering my questions. When my offer was accepted the seller mentioned the lender as one of the main reasons they took my offer over another higher offer. Kristen knew the sellers agents on many properties I put offers on and was able to speak with them which helped with the process. Kristen is a dedicated professional who always accommodated any request, question, or concern I had from the start of the process to the finish. I am very grateful for all of her hard work!
