Kristina Agustin has been a licensed real estate agent for 20+ years. In 2005, after purchasing a home in Amador County, she saw an opportunity to establish a real estate office. The office was opening in the fall of 2005 to January 26, 2016, consistently ranking in the top of the market. In 2015 she sought out a Sotheby’s International Realty franchise. On January 26, 2016 Gateway Sotheby’s International Realty office opened at its new location at 54 Main Street in Sutter Creek. She has been voted Best Realtor in Amador County for the past consecutive three years.
Kristina worked as a seasonal firefighter 1996-2000, for CAL Fire, Amador - El Dorado Ranger Unit, where from the back of a fire engine she acquainted herself with the area. She graduated for California State University Sacramento in 2002 with a BS degree in Marketing with an emphasis on sales and during which time she worked as a marketing assistant for a prestigious landscape architectural firm.
Upon graduation, her entrepreneurial desires led to her pursue her career in real estate. She aligned herself with a top team, selling $30 million plus a year, located in El Dorado County. After a year, she became an independent agent selling in both El Dorado and Amador Counties, and shortly opened the RE/MAX Gold satellite office. Her knowledge of marketing has set her apart from her competitors in the real estate industry. Her education, competitive nature, personable manner and work history has been a key component in her successful years in real estate.
Kristina is a founding member of the local BNI chapter, obtained her CDPE and Luxury Marketing designations, has been a member of the RE/MAX Gold Executive Club 2005, 2007, 2008, and 100% Club 2009 - 2015, RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2014.
She has been happily married 17 years and has two active boys. She is a CrossFit enthusiast and loves the outdoors, spending the rare day off hiking, horseback riding and skiing. She has summited Mount Whitney twice and look forward to returning.
