Kristine Dozeman

Architecture, construction, and interior design have always intrigued Kristine. As Director of Public Relations and Home Furnishings at an advertising agency, she was exposed to photography techniques, wrote articles for national home furnishings magazines, connected regularly with design personnel at manufacturers and editors, photographers, copywriters at publications based in New York, launched nationwide new home furnishings campaigns, and spent months one-on-one with designers of new furnishings.

It was not uncommon for her husband to come home and see new paint colors on the walls, a door removed, floor trim replaced, furniture switched, light fixtures changed, new ceiling fans and shelving installed, carpet torn out and hardwood flooring installed . . . you get the picture. Kristine obtained her Residential Builders License from the State of Michigan and convinced a very-talented custom home builder to hire her as an assistant. As a licensed contractor, Kristine has always been intrigued with construction, both the "big picture" and the "minute details."

It was a logical segue into becoming a residential realtor which quickly became her passion. Her clients will walk into a transaction with eyes wide open -- looking beyond carpet, appliances and paint -- and understanding the nuances inside the walls, under the floors, and above the ceiling... knowing and loving what you're buying.
