About Kurt

The youngest of four born to Bill and Janet Bachman, Kurt grew up around the construction sites and open houses of his father’s real estate business. From working with the framing crews to running the dredges that created new waterways, Kurt learned from the ground up. After graduating from the University of Kansas (Business Administration), it seemed natural to start selling and building homes alongside his father and brother, Brad, also a builder/developer.

Today, Kurt is the principal broker of Bachman Realty, LLC, and president of his own construction company, Kurt Bachman Building, Inc. Kurt is the past president (2009) of the Wichita Area Builders Association and has been a member for 20+ years. He has been a licensed broker at the Wichita Area Association of Realtors since 1991 and employs a team of expert craftsmen, many of whom have been with him since the beginning.
