I highly recommend Kurt Hill. He combined real estate expertise and insight with a wonderful personal touch that made the entire process go smoothly. We were helping my mother downsize and sell her long time Tesuque home which required coordinating repair work, clearing out a household of things that were not making the move, staging and, perhaps even more importantly, navigating the emotions that go with this kind of move. To make things more complicated, we were located in various parts of the US. In just a couple of months the whole process was completed with very little drama and with mom feeling in control from start to finish. Combine that with getting a sales price that exceeded our expectations and the entire experience under Kurt's lead was amazing.

I bought my first home through Adobes and Dirt and Kurt wonderfully pointed me in the direction of a home I love. It was a nice transaction where the seller and I were both happy. I also sold my family’s home that had been in the family for over 50 years and his experience and advice were invaluable once again. The buyer and I were both happy with the sale. We had listed our house several times with several different brokers and no success. After Kurt accepted our listing he had it sold in under 6 months in a very tough market. We live out of town and relied on Kurt to arrange all repairs and he got us very reasonable prices for the many repairs we needed. We are very happy with his service and will contact him when we move back to Santa Fe.

We were looking for a smaller second home for summers and holidays and our friends (who happen to be long-time neighbors of Kurt) recommended Kurt.
As a Santa Fe native, Kurt is very knowledgeable both about Santa Fe neighborhoods as well as the real estate market. He was responsive, flexible and a valued partner during the negotiation process. Everything went smoothly and we love our Santa Fe home.
More importantly, however, Kurt has stayed in contact with us in the 6+ years since the purchase and continues to provide us with assistance in terms of finding contractors and advice of what adds value (and what does not) to our house. He's even helped us get our evaporative cooler cranked up a couple of times - above and beyond the service level of most real estate agents. Highly recommend his services!

We bought our first house over 40 years ago. Since then, we’ve worked with several real estate agents in different states, and I’m happy to say that without a doubt, Kurt has been the best agent we’ve worked with.

His great experience, knowledge, judgment, and intuition very much helped guide us through the listing, prep, and selling of our house, and we especially appreciated his guidance in multiple tricky situations in the area of major and minor repairs and improvements that needed to be made. Deciding what matters most, which repairs to spend money on, how much to spend, and what to leave for the new owner to handle, as well as who we should hire for the work, were all daunting areas where we needed a lot of help, and in every case, Kurt’s advice turned out to be spot on.

As he was sure to keep on top of what our needs and goals were, his communications with us were always responsive, prompt, and courteous. He was always quick to keep us in the loop as the various issues, improvements, inspections, offers, and deals developed - not to mention his sense of humor which always made it a pleasure to interact with him.

Kurt has an extensive network of contacts in town that proved to be very instrumental in helping to quickly address anything that came up, whether it had to do with cleaning, staging, repairs, legal or financial issues, or in working with buyers’ agents. In the end, Kurt facilitated a very smooth, profitable negotiation and execution of our sale, with zero follow-on issues, re-work, or dissatisfaction on the part of the new owners, all of which speaks to his thoroughness and attention to detail. To our delight, it was all a very clean deal - one shot and we were done.

In short, we could not have been happier to have Kurt on our side, helping us to get through all the upfront repairs and property prep, and then to get the deal we needed in the timeframe we were looking for. Absolute top marks go to Kurt, as we would highly recommend him to others, and would eagerly work with him again on any future real estate efforts.

Having relocated from out of state, we needed an honest, knowledgeable professional who could efficiently guide us through the various Santa Fe neighborhoods. Kurt was pretty quick in identifying what was important to us in our home search and identified specific properties that met our criteria thereby not wasting our, or his time. We closed remarkably quickly on a property where Kurt was communicating with the seller's broker and Title Company, inspectors, etc. while he was on vacation.

I have zero qualms providing Kurt's services for those looking for an outstanding broker.

Working with Kurt was a great experience. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Santa Fe market and responsive to a client's needs/preferences. I was moving from out of state and he set up a personal website so that I was notified when a property that fit my specifications came on the market.
