About Lani

Lani Kahn Drody is Broker, President, and founder of Lowell International Realty. A Miami native, Lani has built and sold thousands of homes in South Florida throughout her career. She served as Executive Vice President of Lowell Homes, one of the pre-eminent homebuilding companies in South Florida for over 12 years and continues to consult for the builder today. Prior to Lowell Homes, Lani sold and marketed luxury waterfront condominiums for The Sunshine Group, a New York-based real estate brokerage and served as the Financial Services Director for a large independent Miami brokerage.

Lani served as president of the Builders Association of South Florida in 2006 – the first woman to hold that post in the organization’s 60-year history — and was named “Builder of the Year” in 2001. She was featured as “The Achiever” on the cover of Miami Today. Lani served on the 2017 Residential Board of Governors for the Miami Association of Realtors. From 2016-2018, she served on BBVA Compass Bank’s Advisory Board. She is a member of the Master Broker’s Forum of Miami Dade County and is a Million Dollar Guild member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. She also maintains her Certified International Property Specialist designation with the National Association of Realtors.

Lani currently serves on the Miami Cancer Institute’s Foundation Board of Directors, the Baptist Health Foundation’s Executive Committee, the Baptist Hospital Operating Board and Baptist Health South Florida’s Community Benefits Committee.

Lani served for 3 years on the membership committee of Coral Reef Yacht Club. She was the 2015-2016 president of Beaux Arts of the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami, the 2005 president of Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services and has chaired countless non-profit fundraising galas for her beloved charities including Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, Miami Bridge, Beaux Arts, and Baptist Children’s Hospital. Lani is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Miami and member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
