About Larissa

Born and raised in the Black Hills, Sioux Falls became home in 2001 for Larissa Luther. Her college education was spread out between South Dakota State University, Black Hills State, where she earned her Bachelor of Education, and the University of Sioux Falls where she earned her Master of Education. When she is not busy finding her clients the perfect home or watching the latest market trends, you can find her enjoying a multitude of activities. Primarily, she loves watching her three young daughters in the many extracurricular activities they love such as dance, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, and playing outside, as well as volunteering in their schools. If she is not too busy keeping up with them, curling up with an enjoyable book, spending time at the lake, or enjoying a date with her husband are some ways she spends her time. Additionally, she serves as a board member for JDRF, the leading organization researching ways to cure Type 1 Diabetes.

She earned her broker associate license in the spring of 2013. She enjoyed working as a REALTOR® for two years until a third daughter happily surprised them. Upon her arrival, she spent a couple of years at home with her before diving back into real estate full-time. Having begun her professional life in the field of education, she has a wealth of experience when it comes to listening. Serving the public school system as a teacher for twelve years, she had the opportunity to hone her listening skills in a variety of settings, with a variety of people. From students to parents, co-workers to administrators, listening was key to getting things done. It is this knack for listening to the needs of others that she brings with her to the field of real estate. As your agent, she can promise that listening to your wants, needs, fears, and frustrations will be instrumental in your agent/client relationship. Her job is to listen to what you want.
