My mother in law passed away in 2023, leaving behind an estate that included eight properties ranging from a million-dollar waterfront lot to Section 8 condominiums. Our family has trusted Laura for years, so she was our only choice to handle the sales. Our relationship with her began when she represented my son in purchasing his first home. She spent countless hours showing him properties, and when he found the right one, she dedicated even more time to inspections, document preparation, and negotiations. Despite the significant effort she invested, when the sellers were firm on an unjustified price, Laura advised my son to consider walking away. Her focus was on what was best for him, not on her commission. Ultimately, the sale went through when the sellers accepted the fair price my son offered.
For my mother in law’s properties, we trusted Laura's expertise completely, following all her recommendations on pricing and which repairs or updates would add value. She also advised us on what not to invest in, ensuring we didn't spend money on improvements that wouldn’t be recouped in the sale price. Her extensive experience was invaluable; all eight properties closed within two weeks to four months of being listed. Most had multiple offers, and the one that took four months was delayed due to buyer financing issues.
Throughout the process, Laura went above and beyond, often assisting the lender and buyer's agent with tasks that were technically their responsibility. She kept us consistently informed, so we never had to reach out for updates. With such a diverse and extensive portfolio of properties – spanning two counties, there were many moving parts, but Laura handled everything with professionalism, care and often - humor.
It’s rare to find an expert who combines such extensive knowledge with unwavering integrity and a commitment to always putting her client’s interests first. A true pleasure to work with.
