She is a Texas native, having relocated to the area in 1993. As a child, she always dreamed of living in the mountains. When she moved to Colorado in 1993, that dream finally came true. She has spent the last twenty-eight years here in the Park/Teller County area and loves it! It's easy to be excited about a place you care so much about, so she finds it very rewarding to work with folks who call this area their home, and she also enjoys showing the mountains to folks thinking about making that same move that she did! As a small mountain real estate office, Saddle Up Realty, LLC was created at the end of 2009 by Laura Owens, when the Woodland Park Prudential Real Estate office she worked for closed due to the economic downturn. She specializes in representing her clients in the purchase and sale of single-family residences, ranches, and vacant land in and around the towns of Guffey, Florissant, Lake George, Divide, Hartsel, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, and surrounding mountain areas. She has been involved with the real estate industry on site since 1994. She has a firm mortgage background and has built several foundations. She recently earned the Designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and is working toward the Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) Designation.
