Laura Peery

As an experienced agent and native of Richmond, Laura Peery helps her clients skillfully navigate the twists and turns of the real estate market while having some fun along the way. In addition to the Richmond area, Laura specializes in waterfront properties and country estates. She has a place on the Yeocomico River and loves spending time on or near the water.

Prior to becoming a realtor, Laura worked for years as a behavioral health counselor helping individuals and military veterans get their lives back on track. Buying or selling a home can be stressful, and Laura is trained and experienced at relieving the stress and delivering a positive outcome. Laura’s tenacity, strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and genuine nature have helped hundreds of buyers and sellers reach their goals, even during challenging times.

Her motto is “attitude is everything, integrity is non-negotiable.”

Laura believes that the right team makes all the difference, and she has developed a long contact list of vetted professionals that can help with literally any problem that may come up during the sales process. She also thinks that bringing up a problem without offering a solution is just plain rude.

Laura graduated from Collegiate School and The University of Virginia. She is a member of, and volunteers for, the Windsor Farms Garden Club, The Tuckahoe Women’s Club, First Presbyterian Church, and The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Swimming is a year-round passion, and she is always up for an adventure or a great belly laugh. Laura has a designer’s eye and loves prowling antique and estates sales for treasures. She is a lifelong lover of art and music, especially live performances. A self-proclaimed “urban chicken wrangler,” there are few moments more enjoyable to Laura than feeding her chickens and collecting eggs with her dog Taz.
