Laureen Koch

Born and raised in New York City and Long Island, Laureen has always loved living near the ocean. After visiting Rhode Island and loving the beaches, coastline, and beautiful historic homes, Laureen has made scenic Rhode Island her home for over 30 years. Having owned homes in three different Rhode Island communities, she is someone who understands the diverse attributes of each unique region of the state.

After over ten years of working in the medical field, as a critical care nurse and then in medical sales, Laureen was looking for a new challenge and decided to cultivate her newly emerging entrepreneurial talents. She attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Paris and graduated first in her class with a catering degree in 1995. She started a catering business that grew over the years to be highly successful, catering major events with up to 600 guests primarily at the Newport Mansions. She fell in love with the history of the mansions and the beauty of the homes themselves so after taking time off from her business to raise her children, she went into real estate. Here she combines her exemplary service with her enthusiastic expertise to guide her buyers and sellers successfully through the real estate process. Laureen’s strong work ethic has led her to be a Multi-Million Dollar Producer, a top-rated real estate agent in Rhode Island by Zillow, Professional Excellence Award by Rhode Island Monthly 2020-2022, and a 2016-2022 Five Star Agent award winner.
