We recently worked with Lauren and her team to buy a home. Initially we looked at meeting with a few different agents, but from the first meeting we had with Lauren we were convinced she was the right agent for our search and decided to work with her almost immediately. Her initial presentation was educational and set the whole process on the right course. I had a lot of questions, and she had all the answers. We started our search with Lauren the next day and were lucky enough to come to an agreement on a home we felt great about soon after that. Lauren and her team (she will put you in touch with great people during the whole process) kept us calm and on-top of things even through a few bumps in the road that go with buying a home in a competitive market. Lauren is awesome!!!

When trying to navigate this extremely difficult market as first time home buyers, my girlfriend and I were overwhelmed at first, and were lucky to have found Lauren. She walked us through several steps, explaining in detail things to look out for, and pitfalls to avoid. Lauren took the time to educate us so we were prepared.

We know for certain that Lauren had our best interests in mind at all times. When exploring open houses with us, she would examine the home with an understanding of our wants and needs, and was critical about how well the home would fit what we're looking for. There were even a few potential lemons we were keen on until Lauren explained the risks we would have taken on. As FTHBs, we absolutely needed somebody with her expertise.

With Lauren, you have an agent who is extremely well connected. We have relied on several of her experts that she has the contact for, and we are fortunate to have the best of the best on our team. Even in the close process, she will fight for you to get everything you need, and ensure the close goes as smoothly as possible.

I can attest first hand that to buy or sell a home in today's frenzied market is not a trivial endeavor. There are a significant amount of important considerations that must be factored into selling a property if you desire a maximum return. Given either buying or selling a home may be the single largest transaction you will make, a misstep throughout the process can be emotionally exhausting and extremely costly. Lauren O’Brien did an outstanding job of creating and implementing a plan to sell our 100-year-old home. Lauren’s knowledge and experience in understanding the market, neighborhood demographics, buyers’ expectations, and buyer’s financing intricacies, etc., resulted in a well-defined plan to market my home to a specific buyer’s segment. Once the market strategy was identified, Lauren was instrumental in identifying what needed to be remodeled and then overseeing the remodeling project itself. The remodel was complicated, involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing and construction, all of which Lauren handled seamlessly from inception through inspection with the local agencies. Under Lauren’s supervision, the total remodel came in under budget. As first time buyers Lauren was extremely helpful getting us started. We actually met her 2 years before when we initially started to look, but decided to pass on getting a home at the time. She still went out of her way to show us the house and explain some things to us. This left a lasting impression and was the primary reason for us going back. She honestly helped us out in every way possible. Very accommodating, honest, and answered all our questions (there were a lot). We started out just casually looking, but when we found the right house (almost right away) she helped us make sure we did everything possible to secure it.
