Lavina “Lav” Samtani began her career in 2001. She knew that real estate is not only about Sales. Lav is of Indian origin, born and raised in Indonesia. She moved to the USA in 1990 and has lived in the Silver Spring, Germantown, and now Frederick, MD area. Her youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school, church, and athletics. In addition to English, Hindi, and Indonesian, Lav also speaks Sindhi. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and meeting new people.
Lav has been ranked Top 25 of over 150 real estate agents in her office for 8 consecutive years. As a consistent top-producing REALTOR®, she has been a member of the 100% Club for 13 consecutive years, Platinum Club 5 years in a row, and am a RE/MAX Hall of Fame member.
Lav is a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) whose specialties include working with move-up buyers, first-time homebuyers, investors, and foreclosed properties. Her other designations include e-PRO, ASR®, Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and CSA (Certified Staging Agent).

She tries to take the time to teach her clients ways to handle their finances better so that they avoid the ordeal of short sales and foreclosures.
