About Lawana

Lawana's appreciation for property ownership began early, growing up as a farm-girl in the Ozark foothills. After graduation from ASU, she gained an understanding and love of the diversity and beauty of Arkansas, while traveling the “Natural State” as a field ecologist for the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. She then moved to Alaska where and spent almost 20 years as owner and operator of a service/construction business, dealing with both residential and commercial properties. In 1996, Lawana returned to Arkansas with her husband and son. Even though they could have moved anywhere, they chose Hot Springs as a place to live, work and raise their family. Hot Springs was their choice because it had big city advantages while still maintaining that “hometown” feel.

Having had the opportunity to travel extensively, both in and out of Arkansas, gave Lawana a larger perspective when meeting client's real estate needs. It allows her the added advantages of being able to relate to the needs of not only local buyers and sellers but also of those who would become her “new neighbors”. Those who know Lawana would tell you that she approaches everything that she does with dedication and commitment, whether it is work, collecting classic autos and hats, or volunteering.
